Venessa Taylor-Mishra, a native of Jamaica, lives in the United States with her Indian born husband and American born daughter. Meals in her multi-cultural home is often a fusion of spices and recipes from her Jamaican mother and her Indian saas (mother-in-law). 

Venessa has traveled to many countries, including Germany, Italy, Japan, France, Switzerland, India, and Jamaica. She loves exploring different foods and cultures and has tried many different cuisines from around the world. Among her favorite cuisines are Thai, Jamaican, and Indian.
